Professional Manager & Lecturer, UX studies at Haifa University.

October 2018 - Present

 

I have recently established a new UX studies program at Haifa university. The program provides academic level courses for beginners and experts. This is the first and only program in Israel to offer a UX course for complex systems design. I have written the beginners & expert programs and lecturing in both.

I have co-established the academic program of HCI studies under B.A. in Psychology at TA-Y Academic College. I am the co-head and lecture of the program, teaching UX introduction course, UX for complex systems course, and seminar work.

I have done freelance work on several projects. Going thorough requirements gathering, user’s research and high fidelity prototyping. Some of clients include: Elbit, Applied Materials, Amdocs, Infinity, Didigtal Israel, PatentCentry, Nestlogic, Afarsek Security and many more.

 

Profesional Manager at Netcreaft Academy, Israel.

I am currently heading Netcrafts’ UX academy which is  the biggest academy for UX in Israel. I am in charge of courses content and structure, courses materials, lectures and lecturers and mentoring students on top of preforming course administrative duties. I am obviously still lecturing in this role.

During this role I was in charge of all of the UI/UX aspects of the company ongoing projects, internal tools and customer facing products. I worked in close relation with developers, graphic designers, project managers and different stakeholders.

During this role I was responsible for creative tailoring of 3D virtual worlds (Conferences, Dating, E-learning, Gaming, Real-Estate) for commercial use. I worked closely with product mangers, graphic designers, marketing department.

During this role I served as a UI specialist and human factors expert on a short project conducted for the Israeli air force. I have worked within a small team of UI specialists & developers.

During this role I researched and produced UI wireframes and detailed designs for a wide range of projects and clients. I have worked closely with graphic designers and developers and was part of UI team consisted of 5 specialists.

During this role I managed Professor Dan Zakay’s cognitive psychology laboratory.

I was in-charge of conducting experiments, collecting data, analyzing data and guiding M.A. and undergrad students.

 

 

Teaching Assistant, Risk Tasking Tendencies  - Peres Academic College, Rehovot, Israel.

During this role I assisted Professor Dan Zakay in teaching an undergrad course at Peres academic college about risk taking tendencies. Among the primary themes of the class were: decision makings, heuristic thinking, attention to threats and more.

During this role I thought 4 classes of undergraduate students the course of History of psychology going from ancient Greece to modern age psychology. I was in-charge of developing course materials, presentations, teaching, assignment and tests built and assessment.

During this role I assisted Professor Dan Zakay in teaching an M.A. course in Tel-Aviv University about human factors. Among the main topics of the course were: human-machine interaction, user profiling, tasks analysis, error recovery, heuristics evaluation, UI, UX, ergonomics, usability and more.

During this role I developed and taught a wide range of courses for gifted children aged 9 – 15 in various fields of social science. I often worked alone or with another teacher to combine more than one field of knowledge.
